In this session, Stefania presents insights from her research project on the role of the pedagogista, in collaboration with Reggio Children and the Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres - Istituzione of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia. Drawing on data from the research in the nidi and scuole dell’infanzia, Stefania conveys the ways in which pedagogistas, together with teachers and atelieristas, create dialectic spaces for professional learning (in Italian ‘formazione’) through pedagogical documentation.
